Sorry it has taken me soooo long to get to this but.....life has been crazy! I'm gonna post some pics from our recent "travels". park, zoo, pumpkin patch etc.....
We took a little trip down to murray park one day and Luke made new friend. The sad part is it has been so long I don't remember the kid's name! Jackson I think. SO cute! He won Luke over for sure!!!
Out of 1000 pics this is one of the 10 "artistic" pics I got. That's what Tara would call it I think!
In October we took a trip down to the pumpkin patch in Grady. Wow! Gorgeous weather! Lots of fun. We all packed up and spent the night down there. All the kids were there and we played hard! Roasted hotdogs and smores. After the kids went to bed we played a little guitar hero! Mark entertained folks out by the fire with some guitar tunes. He likes to sing with daddy and Uncle Carroll. Here are some pics from that weekend.
ROMPER ROOM !!!!! Where's Sloan?
Love this pic of Cal Boy!
Go ahead. Make my ....uh....sandwich...yeah make my sandwich!
We live next door to a preschool so there is a playground right next to us. We frequent Fair Park school as much as we can. Luke loves the slide and loves to climb around on everything!
He is just growing so fast. I think he grows an inch every day! SO tall!
He had just come dwon the slide so there was static all in his hair. Just happen to catch this shot at the right time!
Mark Has been working on our arcade games. He finally got Pole Position up and working. Luke just loves to steer and crash! Love the tongue hanging out. Concentrating just like his momma!
Luke was ELMO for Halloween. They had a party at school and they got to dress up and trick or treat around CDC. He was the only ELMO! THey said the kids loved him and they were chasing him around!
THis is what 18 toddlers looks like! You could hear a pin drop when the food came out!
I took him to Boo At The Zoo. LIttle young. Did'nt quite know what to do with everything. But we took a train ride and he loved it. Here's one his many poses for the camera.
We ran into a friend of mine that I used to work with . These are her foster kiddos. THese boys are 3 years old! Luke looks like he's their age! Crazy?!
LUke is really growing up. He has lots of words that make sense and then he has a language all his own. i wish I knew what he was saying. He sure does! His favorite thing to do is fuss at the kitties. BAD BAD ki ! He shakes his finger at them and gives them the business every chance he gets. He climbs all over everything and he's finally got the running thing down. Yes he is becoming quite sassy. Yes mom, I know I'm getting paid back for all my sassing you! Sorry. Now I know how it feels and I can just hear you when I fuss at him for it! :) Favorite foods are spaghetti and yogurt. Quite fond of goldfish and pringles too! (sour cream and onion). He is so much fun right now. Everyday there is something new. We rough house a lot too. He loves it! Speaking of mom.....there is a portrait of my mom hanging in our den. We were sitting on the couch under it the other day and he stopped what he was doing and looked at it. He just stared at it. I said, "Luke are you looking at your DeeDee?" (that's what we're calling her). He just smiled and pointed at her picture. Then he stomped his feet and got all excited. He just kept staring at it and smiling behind that pacifier for at least 10 minutes. We talk to him about her all the time. She would just adore him. I know she would love all our kids. Wish you were here mom! We miss you and we love you!!!!!
