Luke starts his new class tomorrow!

I took Luke to school on Thursday.  This was his last day in his first class.  His teachers were talking about their memories of all the kiddos when they first got there.  "they were so tiny and new.  We didn't know them at all.  Now they're 'our' babies and we have to let them go".  It was all too sad.  Then more moms came in and they all started crying so then I started crying.  It has been so comfortable for me to take Luke to school everyday and drop him off with people who love him and really take good care of him.  Not that this next class will be any different but .....it will be different.  I am one of those people who likes to stay in my comfort zone and this was a really big one.  Luke loves Myhesia and Rosheena and they love him too.  Myhesia will be in the class right next to Luke's new class.  That's awesome.  But she said it sure will be hard not to go over there and tell the teachers what to do with "her" kids.  I must say I do find it comforting to see Myheisa cry over my son (and the others as well).  It just shows that she does care.  Luke has learned so much over this past year.  It's really amazaing when you stop and think about it.  I know there are people out there that poo-poo on day care but I think it is a great learning experience for them.  They get to socialize with other kids (I get to socialize with other moms-adults) and learn from them.  I have no doubt that Luke would not be as far along as he is if he had just stayed home with me or anyone else.  CDC is a great place with great teachers who love our kids!  I am soooo very glad that we were able to get in.  I know that Ms. Rita and Ms. Sabrina will love Luke just as much! I just have to get used to something different! YUCK! We see Nate almost everyday and look forward to it!  We also look forward to seeing Calvin and Sloan (tara and becca too of course) in our daily pick ups and drop offs! YEAH!!!!!!!  Now I get to see them more!  I miss them!  I don't get to see them enough with my busy life.  Can't wait!!! So I guess I better go get his stuff together for tomorrow!  BIG DAY!!!!!

Luke fit rite in with all the big kids at McDonalds today. The rules say ages 3-12 but we overlooked that rule!! Luke kept looking up the slide saying" dada dada". This little girl kept telling him "ur daddy isn't up there!"

where r all the binkies?

So I have been looking for all his binkies for weeks now. I know we have a tin if them but they vanished and we were down to one. Well last nite I thought to look under his bed. Lo and behold there they were. All of them! In a little pile. I thought that was pretty funny! Btw all those cords are from the Internet junk.

our "hands" picture

I used to look at this one picture of my mom and dad's hands from their wedding all the time. It made me happy. Since then I have always loved "hands" pictures. Luke is lying next to me here asleep. He is holding my hand and it is incredibly sweet.

Luke was sick for a few days this week. We stayed home from school and spent some quality time together. We went to dads store and went for a ride on the cart!

Dinner with Tara, Becca and the cousins!

Mark was very sweet to invite Tara and Becca and the babies to the house for dinner the night before I went in to have my ablation done.  I was a little nervous and he thought it would ease my fears to spend some time with my family! Boy was he right!  Especially considering what I was about to go through! Little did we know.......anyway we had a great time! Here are a couple of pics!
