Our handsome little man in Marmee's clothes!

Well, Marmee bought the most handsome little outfit for Luke for his birthday.  However, it was a bit on the large side so we had to go back to get the next size smaller.  Much to my dismay they didn't have the right size when we got there.  I was sooooooo mad!  I loved it!  But I think Marmee and everyone else will agree when you see the pic of what we had to get instead.  He is super handsome don't ya think? I do believe green is his best color!!!!  Well actually blue is because it brings out his beautiful eyes!!!  Anyway, Marmee I hope you approve!!!  Thank you sooo much!!!!!

Uncle Jeff ( friend of ours from college) is spending the weekend with us. We had a BIG dinner at us pizza last nite and Luke was just wiped out. Can't resist those sleeping pics!!

Little did he know this would b his last bottle. We decided to just go cold turkey. Horrible idea!! Were gonna try to stick to it but the boy has a strong will!! He hates these cups!! He'll drink juice out of it but not the milk! its so hard to grow up!!

our first Cajun Sno!!

Had to get a sno cone! This was Luke's first trip there! He had some of dad's tiger's blood and some mom's pink lady!!!! As you can see, we had quite the red tongue!!!!

Note to self: remember the dancing and laughing in the car seat on our way! Boom Boom Pow! (this really is a note for myself!)

We were in the mood for burgers today and went to the best place for such-the Purple Cow!!!! So good! Luke kept trying to eat the crayons!!

Then we went to the park by our house. Luke had so much fun!!!!he really thinks he's bigger than he is!! He's almost there!!!! I have lots of other pics but don't have a clue how to post more than one from this stupid phone!

May (11 months ) MOther's Day - LUke was not so happy today!  He was veeeery fussy and this was the best picture we could get! However it was a great day!  we had a great time together!  My first mother's day - i am so lucky.  I never imagined it could be this wonderful.  I love this child more than I ever could have imagined.  Mark is a terrific father and we are having so much fun watching LUke grow up!  It is happening faster than we want it to but it is incredible!!!!!

 

And Now for the biggest day EVER!!!!!  LUke's 1st Birthday party!!!!!!! It was a SPongebob blowout!!!  Luke loves SPongebob-when it comes on he stand there and listens to the intro song and dances!  He gets so excited!!!!  I'll put more pics in photo albums.  I'll get them set up soon I promise ! Sorry I'm slow!! My friend Mary at work made the cake and it was perfect!!!!!

 

Luke went straight for the icing!  He tested it with one finger, then two, then the whole hand and iot was on!  On everything that is! 

 

Messier and messier but cuter and cuter! He started getting tired and just laid his head down next to the cake as if he were gooing to take a rest but kept on going!  Too funny!

 

Poor Spongebob!  Luke never made it to the cake!  But he tore up that icing!

Luke had a wonderful time opening his presents - now we need a new room in the house for all of them! Tara bought him this hat but he would'nt wear it!  Leigh snapped this perfect crooked little shot before he could take it off! He is my little prince for sure!

 

It has been quite a year!  Lots of smiles, lots of tears, lots of waking up in the middle of the night and a few nights when we didn't even get to sleep but it has all been worth it.  I would do every minute of it over in a heartbeat! I love you Sugarbear!

November (5 months) Sacked out on the couch with PaPa - must have been the turkey that Mark made! MMMMM it was goooood!

 

Luke's first Christmas (6 months old)  First time meeting Santa Claus!

 

January (7 months) Hmmmm....cant seem to find a pic of luke this month! all twins!Calvin and Sloan - We love you soooo much!  Can't wait til you're big and can run around with us!!!!!!

 

February (8 months) All we have at this point are videos!  can't find but 1 pic of february.  THis was his favorite thing to do- stand in front of the mirror and laugh!

 

March (9 months) WE LOVE our new wagon from gampa!!!!!

 

This is Luke's first frog giggin' weekend - no he did not gig or eat any frogs but dad wanted him in the pic anyway!

 

It's kind of hard to show pics of crawling - we have lots of videos but here's a cute shot!

 

April - 1st Easter - (10 months) Luke started walking this month!  wow!  what a difference!  we wished and wished for it but when it finally came- shew we wanted it to slooooow down!  so exciting but sad all at once!!!!! Lots of bumps and bruises on the head - lots of tears!!!!!!!  Sooooo cute!

and then.......

Sorry I was interrupted by my lousy computer.  Anyway, Luke grew up so quickly.  When we came home from the hospital I just sat there and stared at him for hours on end.  Then he began to make sweet little noises (that I wish I could have had a 24 hour recorder for).  I have already forgotten them.  Yes I could kick myself for not writing them all down.  Here is on of my favorites.  It's his ET shot!

He soon discovered his hands and feet.  I swear every time I looked at him he was flipping me off.  He always had that middle finger sticking straight up!  So funny!  Almost embarrassing really!  Never was able to get a picture of that.  He always crossed his feet.  He still does that, whether he is in his high chair, car seat or just sitting in the floor.  Then he rolled over.  Then came the smiles!!!

 

This was the first one!  Must be my favorite!  I could look at this all day! He is JUST beautiful!

 

This was obviously a little later but had to put it on here. July actually. Just melts ya! Yes I apologize and could kick myself again for not starting this earlier.  It is VERY hard to catch up this way.  Especially since I have 8 bijillion pictures.  Guess I will have to put them in the albums for ya to check out!
