Well, I apologize for the lack of posting in recent months. I realize most of you are sick of seeing the Cowboys' stadium. That will change shortly! So much has happened since I posted last. I got a new job, which I thought would give me more time to keep up wit this but.....apparently not. But enough about me. Luke has grown sooooo very much. We learned to eat with utensils, drink from a cup, (we love Sprite), and sooo very much more. Unfortunately, my iPhone crashed and I lost all of my notes that I was keeping on his firsts before I was able to save it. YES, I AM SICK ABOUT IT!!!!! anyway, He is 2 now and talking like crazy! We were worried for a while because he wasn't saying much. Well, all it took was for the doctor to say "speech eval" and he suddenly opened the gates to a language explosion. It is so sweet. Music to our ears. It won't last long enough.....I will try to figure out how to post some of my recordings from my phone. Anyway, enjoy the pictures! Here goes!
Let's start with Christmas Eve!
Such Handsome guys!!!
There was so much stuff for this child under the tree, but the only thing that truly mattered, was, yes, ELMO! The Elmo tent was a huge hit. He still plays in it to this day! ELMO is the world right now!
Luke's First Elmo. Like I said, the boy LOVES Elmo!
Just a perfect litle Angel!!
Now, this dog sat at Daddy's store for the longest and no one bought it. Every time we would go there, Luke would have a fit over this doggy. He would love it and kiss it and try his best to ride it around. Well, it was no surprise that PaPa noticed this. Lo and behold, it showed up at our house Christmas morning. The boy was beside himself! he was so very excited!!! "DOGGY!!!!!"
This is at the playround at the mall in Jonesboro. It has a really neat playground and riding toys. Luke loves this place! We totally need something like this in LR!!!
Well, I must give credit and a big thank you to Becca for Luke's first official haircut-in the bathtub and PaPa and Lolli's house. Unfortunately, my pics were lost when my phone crashed! Stupid phone!!! So here is his second, first haircut! Ms. Jeanna was awesome and it totally helped that she had an iPhone too. The kid had 2 iPhones! She had more games on hers than I did ! It occupied him enough to get the scissors going!
My baby's baby curls.....soooo sweet! I miss them!
But what a handsome prince when they were gone :) Very proud of himself I might add!
The twins turn ONE!!!!!!!!!
What a fun birthday party!!!!! I can't believe my babies are 1 !!!!
I love my "lodurt"-translation-yogurt!
SO very big!!!!
Easter at PaPa and Lolli's house. we got all the kids and went to dad's for an Easter Egg Hunt. It was so much fun! The kids had a blast! But I'm pretty sure we had more fun watching them!!!
we tried so hard to get them all to look at us. I think we did pretty well! Nice one Sloan!!! True Austin!
What a sweet picture of Dad and Linda. They do so much for us. There is no way we can ever repay them! We love you guys so much and thank you for all that you do for us and our babies!!!!
Easter morning at church. These were taken at the courtyard at Second Presbyterian Church. Luke loves to play here after church.
After church, we went home and Luke got his Easter basket and had a little egg hunt of our own. What fun! Big frog, our first real lightsaber (a must have for anyone named Luke), and a good bit of candy!
MASTER LUKE !!!!
Stay tuned for part 2! Gotta load them on my laptop and then I'll be in business!!!!!
